Why do I need Part Volumes Plan / Actual / Forecast?

  • In Strategy: Workflow tab is called Part Volumes Plan and contains either Market volumes or own volume estimation to reflect targeted or opportunity business in the future.

  • In Acquisition: Use Part Volumes Plan for internal calculation (if not the same as requested from customer). Is the base for calculating Turnover in DA Reporting.

  • In Booked:

    • no Interface to ERP System: Add delivered, scheduled and Forecasted volume over lifetime

    • with Interface to ERP system

      • Integration of delivered volumes

      • Integration of scheduled volumes

      • Forecast of lifetime volumes

Implementation logic

If only one Part is available, this is automatically set as "Reference part" and Take Rate = 100%. Enter your details (Volumes or Take Rate) always on Part level.

If more Parts are in use, then user needs to define the correct Reference part(s) to be comparable to the selected market model volumes (Sum of marked reference parts = 100% Take Rate = Total Project volume). this can be one part or different parts within a Part group.
