Draft new quote version

During RFQ phase many changes in requirements, updates in calculation and negotiation with customer require ongoing updates of quotation.

Therefore each new quote loop can be managend in a separate quote version, which makes the process more transparent and comprehensible.

Once a quote version is approved & fixed, all actual and previous tab versions (RFQ Base data, Evaluation to quote) are also blocked and cannot be changed.

In order to prepare a new and updated quote a new version can be released.

Draft a new Quote version (tab: New Version)
(RFQ team is informed and receives tasks about new version details after confirming new version

  1. Add comment and information (is part of the message to team)

  2. Attach new or revised documents

  3. Set new quote date and

  4. update "expected award of business" date if required

Notification and update version

Once a new Quote version is drafted, responsible RFQ team member receive a system notification about the new version and are able to update data in their role and responsibility (see example in picture).

Same logic as for the first Quote version. After finishing all updates, Sales PL / Acquisition PL initiates approval process again.

One the new version is approved, it is blocked for further changes and updates require now again a new Quote version.
